Bagel is a soft, airy bread roll made from yeast dough, and it’s shaped with a hole in the middle.
It is characterized by its glossy, crispy crust and chewy, doughy insides. Originally a plain doughnut-shaped roll made of yeasted wheat flour and boiled in salt water, today’s bagels come in a variety of flavours, from classic sesame and poppy seed bagels to more exotic varieties and can be found worldwide.

Bagels are booming nowadays, and retail and wholesale bagel facilities require an automated solution to their bagel-making needs. This is why the ability of Trima’s Bagel Line to produce up to 3,200 bagels per hour is a new opportunity for any business looking to scale up production or to start a production for Bagels.

    Bagel Line
    Bagel Line can accommodate a broad spectrum of production capacities, making it ideal for shop bakeries and small artisan operations, the industry standard for retail, foodservice and small wholesale operations. It’s fast, strong, reliable and is easily adapted for the production of bagels at up to 3,200 pieces per hour.

    EASE OF USE
    The Bagel Line combines efficiency, quality, and convenience in one smart package, making the production of bagels extremely easy and timesaving, avoiding a lot of manual work and always obtaining a uniform and perfect result – ensure that each bagel is perfectly shaped and consistent in size and weight. BAGEL Line consists of two parts: the divider-and-rounder PRIMA Duo and the forming unit.

    A PERFECT COMBINATION
    The PRIMA Duo forms the dough balls into the specified weight range and transfers the dough piece by belt into to the former, no intermediate proofing is required. The former then processes the piece of dough into a bagel. The bagel is then removed manual by hand or via a turntable or automatic transfer. After the divided & rounded dough balls are transferred from the PRIMA Duo, the bagel-former can automatically form the dough balls into a ring shape – continuously, gently and accurate.

    A VERSATILE PRODUCTION
    The bagel-former is capable of producing products with two different size specifications, one in the range
    of 50 – 100 gr and another from 100 g – 150 gr.
    The forming unit is equipped with replaceable tubes for this different weight ranges and it is quick changeable.

    At the beginning of each line stands Prima Duo

    This is the maximum capacity per hour of the 2-row version with only one person operating it.

    Infeed belts
    These belts gently convey the dough to the chamber without stressing it, so less flour is needed.

    Adjustable pressure
    You can adjust the pressure on the dough based on its texture. This innovative system doesn’t stress the dough, ensuring optimal processing.

    Double-piston drum
    It allows you to make a wide variety of buns of varying weight without having to replace any mechanical components, thus saving you time and money.

    Separate rounding chamber adjustment
    You can adjust the rounding space regardless of the dough piece’s weight. This option reduces the pressure on the dough, processing it without stressing it or compromising its volume.

    Interactive touch screen
    Available in the Future version. It allows you to set all the machine parameters (e.g., weight, rounding chamber, rounding speed and time, flour duster).
     You can even save all these settings as a recipe for future use.
